Fishing Line Twist

One of the biggest complaints we hear is, " This line is no good, It twists all up".

Well, if you set a piece of that same line on the counter, can you see it twisting all by itself, with no intervention? I don't think so!

The biggest cause of line twist is having your drag setting too light. When you reel under tension, say a fish or weeds, the drag is slipping as you're reeling. This, in effect, is twisting your line with every crank of the handle. Tighten your drag to the tension at which a fish will be able to take out line without first breaking it, not any lighter, and this will fix that problem.

Hardware

We see way to often people attaching hooks to snap swivels and anything else. They are asking not to get bit.
Use as little hardware as posible when fishing, no wire leaders, swivels etc. near the hook, this will increase catch rates by a large margin.
